The whole purpose of the keelblock style of display is to convey a sense of something heavy sitting on stout supports.
There's daylight under the keel!?!?!
Better to use printed flags than paint bad ones.
MM this is not a very nice model.

Afraid I don't know much about ships but other than the flags as GMorrison pointed out she looks pretty good to me!

GMorrison - Daylight under the keel has nothing to do with build quality which I think is as good as could be. I don't know what flag he used (in box or home painted) but it looks OK to me.
