                        Here it is a year later and I still haven't built it.... maybe some day. Anyone have one of these cool kits built?

                        OK, I bit the bullet and got the Alvin kit from hlj.com (although their site has it out of stock on many of these items they can re-order if you're patient). Looks like a nice kit, I may post a review of it if I have time.

                        Pit-Road Deep Diver series

                        Has anyone built any of the Pit-Road Deep Diver series? These are resin and metal models of various research submersibles (they have some of them at Hobby Link Japan, though most are out of stock). The Alvin has always been of interest to me so I was thinking about trying it. There's a diving suit that also looks cool.

                        I know Pit-Road's ship kits are very nice (I have a few), but haven't been able to find any reviews of the Deep Diver kits.
