Probably the main caution I'd have is that if you mask over the 5-O to paint the blue, tape may lift off paint. Test first.

 Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Someone correct me if I am wrong but you want to paint the lacquer first, then the enamel, and lastly the acrylic. If you plan to use a primer, it may be best to use a lacquer base primer. Hope this is of some help.

Big model, lots of paint want to use rattle cans colors are:
Ocean gray Tamiya As-10 Acrylic
Sea blue Model Master TES 1917 Enamel
Haze grey Model Master TS 32 Laquer. Am I looking for problem by using this many incompatible paints or are there any precautions I should take? Any suggestions are appreciated.
