I normally build wood ships but this is an inexpensive snap tite that I got for half off (7 bucks) at Michaels and I wanted to see what I could do with something like that. 100% box stock, no additional parts. Assembly was flawless, the mold engineers did a perfect job. The rest was a mix of acrylic craft paints, washes made from those acrylics and some enamel CreateFX washes as well.
That's pretty cool.
That type of thing might get more people interested in ship models.
Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
For the price, you can't go wrong.
It would be a good alternative for a make and take event, instead of the fleets of Mustangs that barely look like Mustangs.
