Lindberg makes a 1/300 scale USS DeLong which is the same class of DE as the USS Crosley started out before conversion to a APD'.

or can use revel's buckley class de which is 1/240 scale but you will need to get an enclosed 5" gun mount.

Scale Shipyard has a 1:96 scale fiberglass hull and plan set for the RUDDEROW Class DE's.    They also have a hull, plans and fittings kit for the GANTNER (APD 42), which could be used as a starting point.  You would have to scratch build the decks and superstructure.
