Having just finished my USS San Francisco I am now moving on to the Gambier Bay. I am very impressed with this kit except... I have tried all of my regular sources for after market photo etched parts and come up empty. I've tried Squadron, Internet Hobbies, Gold Medal, Tom's Model Works and WEM. WEM lists the Hasegawa sets but they are out of stock. WEM does have a Casablanca set. So my question is threefold. Does anyone know how to get the Hasegawa sets directly, does the Casablanca set work? Has anyone any advice on acquiring and using the Casablanca or other sets ?Please don't tell me to ask my local hobby store to order them as I live in rural Pennsylvania and the closest thing we have to a hobby shop is Wal- Mart so everything I acquire has to come Mail Order or internet.
