Customizing my Enterprise

I decided this model is big enough that I could add some extra detail to it. I have the 1:350 Tamiya USS Enterprise on my bench now. I made an interior deck so I could leave the hanger doors open and display some aircraft and vehicles inside. The kit comes with a set of recessed doors to use if the elevators are down but they were disappointing because they are still closed, they just sit back an 1/8" from the opening which doesn't add anything to the model in my opinion. Here's a few fit-up shots. 
In the pattern: Scale Shipyard's 1/48 Balao Class Sub! leaning out the list...NOT! Ha, added to it again - Viper MkVii, 1/32 THUD & F-15J plus a weekend madness build!
