Mighty fine looking pair of ships! We'll all be interested to see your next project.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: one minor irony of naval history is that two of history's most oppressive governments Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union, built some of the handsomest warships of the twentieth century.

Youth, talent, hard work, and enthusiasm are no match for old age and treachery.

The Sovremmeny is a nice little kit for its age. I have one or two of them in the stash. It looks tough and purposeful. If I recall correctly, Dragon later took the Pit Road moulds and added a full hull option.

I aquired a bunch of these krivak and sovremenny class ships from my last club meeting. I figured I would do a quick build of these. They are the old pit road kits. I plan on doing a russian naval port in the future with some of the kits I have along with some submarines. Thanks for looking.
