Greg, I believe you meant PT-73. Right?

Youth, talent, hard work, and enthusiasm are no match for old age and treachery.

Yikes, I just thought of my mistake and was coming back to edit my post. You beat me to the punch, JT. Smile

Old age is such fun. Bang Head

PS, now I can't edit the mistake because nobody would know what we are talking about!

And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the show actually use a Vosper for the running scenes.

Clever, McHale.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

MCHALE,  The Revell 1/72nd scale Vosper MTB kit is the exact same kit, molded in a much lighter gray (almost white) plastic, with different box top art and decals -- it even includes the figures of McHale, Ensign Parker, Captain Binghampton, and Gruber.   Grab one of those Vosper MTB kits, and you've got a duplicate of the kit Revell released back in the '60's as the "McHale's Navy PT 73."

Would your friend be willing to make a couple more sets of those "PT 73" hull decals?  And three or more tiny "73"s, for the cockpit coaming face and sides?  If he is, I'm in.  The decals (and a darker gray paint job) are all that are needed to turn the Vosper MTB kit into McHale's PT 73.
