We were at Bing Concert Hall at Stanford. It was the first time there for either of us. We have been regular patrons at Davies Hall in San Francisco, which we were and continue to be on the design team for, but have moved down the Peninsula to be closer to my parents and start to head towards retirement.
The San Francisco Symphony was guest performer.
Handel: Water Music
Haydn: Trumpet Concerto
Haydn: Symphony No. 98
A fine evening, kicking off her Birthday Weekend.
Friday night our daughter caught up with us and we went honky tonking for Delta Blues down at a dive bar called Poor House Bistro in San Jose. Plastic tables and chairs- I'll spare you the details.
Don, I always think of that type of planking as yacht style. When I embarked (pun intended) on my America I expected to have that to do, however it's such a large schooner that it has traditional parallel fore and aft planking. More on that project soon.
Thanks for looking, I thought that this bench was a real beauty.
