I was wondering if anyone out there makes 1/350 scale models of the following ships?

USS Bainbridge CGN 25
USS Truxtun CGN 35
USS Long Beach CGN 9

and the VIrginia Class?

When I finally do my Enterprise from Tamiya I would like to do a sea going diarama of some of these ships. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you find any, let me know, I've worked on all of these ships with the exception of the Long Beach and the Truxton and would like to see how they turn out. Don't forget the California class. The CGN-36 and the South Carolina (CGN-37) were in this class. The SOCAR was the last CGN to be decommissioned. The Virginia, Texas, Mississippi, and Arkansas were in the Virginia class. The CGNs were beautiful ships and we were sorry to have to cut them up.

I'm from the government and I'm here to help.

I'm thinking about doing the same thing either with the Enterprise or with the Reagan once I can find or modify one. Good luck to us both.

Howdy fellow modelers,

If you are looking for these ships go to <<steelnavy.com>> The ships are available, but at a hefty price. Of course they are resin with photoetch. The Long Beach is also one I am hoping to someday see in plastic. When I stumbled across this one my mouth began to water until I saw the price. I still might say "what the hell" and order it anyway!

One more thing I forgot to add. You'll find them under the "iorn shipwright" link!
