That's great, I've not used pontos but the ones I have used the instructions sound to be the same, perhaps they will all improve now.

That's great!  I used their set on the Zvezda Dreadnought.  I loved the parts, they were great.  But the instructions were a bit lacking.

Pontos instructions vastly improved

I just received the Pontos wood deck and p/e plus brass set for the 1/350 New York and was shocked at how much better the instructions are. The format is the same but instead of a page of two of small photos it now is 4 very large pages of full color shots depicting everything in great detail. I've cursed them on every build because of the tiny pictures and the haphazard way they show how to bend and assemble each part. They often leave out showing some parts from the instructions but perhaps have listened to the critical comments. This is a wonderful improvement. There even is a section showing the assembled model with parts number callouts. If you've ever used their detail sets you'll know what I'm talking about.
