Looking for a large scale (1:350 preferable) Nimitz Class Carrier that I can convert to the Reagan easily, unless anyone knows of a manufacturer that is planning on putting out the Reagan.

The Reagan is unique in that its separate radar tower is incorporated into the main body of the island structure. I think that you have a good project ahead of you. Ronnie is a great ship and we'll miss it when it leaves here for the west coast.

I'm from the government and I'm here to help.

I saw the CSPN stuff on the Reagan. Beatuiful ship suprised she isn't at sea yet. They said that there was over 1300 or 13000 modifications to the Reagan. Almost suprised they call her Nimitz and not Reagan class. One difference is that there is one less wire for the pilots to hit. I cant remember any more they only listed two or three. Trumpter is releaseing a 1/350 Nimitz this year. May also be more than that if history on their part repeats itself.

The Reagan has been to sea.

The ship is currently undergoing her Post Shakedown Availability at Northrop Grumman Newport News.

The PSA is like a "waranty check." It is also a time to add the latest upgrades to equipment , etc.

The PSA is scheduled to be completed this spring.
