Sub Sighting--Sent Soon!?

Poor Guys in the states, the subs have landed here some time ago.

Had a peek at the Kit last night(BIIIG Box) but USD120 is a bit too hefty at the moment.

Yeah, but over here it will be half the price.

Has anyone heard/read anything about afterproducts - i.e. crew and anythng else WRT to the 1/72 Revell sub?

Re: your interest in aftermarket items: CzechMaster makes 3 sets of crew figures in resin (3 figures per set), but most of them are just loading provisions or lounging on deck. They are available thru White Ensign, Squadron, Great Models, etc.

White Ensign claims it is developing a photoetched accessory set and has already assigned it a catalog number.

There are metal crewmen available from Germany, and you could adapt Prieser Luftwaffe figures (there are several plastic and resin sets from WWII, but they're difficult to find).

Maybe when the sub kit itself becomes more redily-available in the US someone will produce more crew and accessories.. . .hopefully!
