Rob, this is exactly what I did. It turned out pretty good. I'll see if I can post pics in a day or two. Thanks guys for the help.

Dirk,
I think your best bet for the arrays is to take your hull color and tweak it with a little light tan, maybe even some white. The color is different, but I don't think it's different enough to warrant going to a different grey vice adjusting the one you are already using. To my eye they look just a bit lighter and a little brown. Good luck!

GMorrison The Arleigh Burkes are very pretty ships IMO. The bows do it.

They have lovely lines (to borrow and paraphrase another movie line)
F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!
U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!
N is for NO SURVIVORS...

You are probably right LGG is downright brown. One of my alltime favorite colors.
Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
I see Ticonderoga Class and Areigh Burke class ships on a regular basis here when they are moored at Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station uploading or offloading ammo. Being an interested modeler I try to pay attention to details when I am looking at them as I ride by. I have noticed that about the Phased Array Radar panels myself. To my eye they look very similar to Light Gull Gray but a with tannish tinge. They certainly contrast with the surrounding Haze Gray superstructure areas.
Now if I can find a good deal on a 1/350 Arleigh Burke kit. Those things have grown on me as I see more and more of them.
Working on the Dragon U.S.S. Ticonderoga CG in 1/350. Some of you may be familiar with their color callouts, which are either a single color specified by a number, or an instruction to mix two or three of those numbers together.
They are calling for 55% Dark Sea Gray and 45% Light Aircraft Gray, apparently in the Gunze Sangyo brand. I use Model Master.
So, anyone got a good match for the color for these arrays? Most reference pics I'm seeing show them lighter than the hull by just a bit, and with a hair of tan or brown in the color. Just curious how ship guys are handling these.
Thanks,
