The white is too bright for the existing font which is sans serif and a bit on the small side. I think if the font were a good reading [serif] font as in Georgian or Century School Book in larger format it would be easier to read.

Sprue-ce Goose

An all-white colour scheme might be considered hygienic..............Hmm

Make ya' pity the folks over in Armor with all the mud and grime (egads, how would you see a snow diorama?)

The airplane and Auto guys are probably alright.

Other than listing who made the last post, and when in a thread, but having to go there manually--or flip the display order as Prof JT suggested.

Ok, and not having a "breadcrumb" trail at the end of a treah means having to manually scroll to the op--vBuletin does a better job of this, as does Jestro.

Right, it couldn't find my username. In the filter choices, they should add a "forums" button.

Hi all, I tried that search but it does not pull any results from the forums, only the website.

I don't see a search bar...hopefully the admins will create an update thread which will explain some of the new features...or at least the *fate* of the search feature.   I'm wondering if posting pics is a different process now?  Guess I'll find out soon enough.

Dave

The black bar directly below the page header, the little spyglass at the right end is the search icon.

You can go almost (though not quite) directly to the latest post in a thread by clicking "Descending Order" in the box just above the oldest post.

I don't have any serious problems with the new look - so far.

Correction: there doesn't seem to be a way to call up all of a member's posts. The ability to do that does come in handy. Sometimes the easiest way to find a particular post is by the name of the poster. The old format let you click on the number of posts a poster had made, and be taken to a list of all the posts from that person. I can't figure out a way to do that with the new format. Maybe I'm missing something obvious.

Youth, talent, hard work, and enthusiasm are no match for old age and treachery.

Hello all,

Changes are inevitable - I think the white is hard on the eyes. How do you do searches?

So, do we like this new look yet?

I'm missing the ability to go straight to the last posted comment.

But, I do like the clean look of the all-white background.
