I came looking for a rather difficult item. It's a present for my father. He's looking for the BIL052560 model of Jacques Cousteau's "Calypso", manufactured by Billing Boats.

Would anyone know where I might find one?

Yes, I'd tried there before, but I'm not entirely sure that their B560 model is exactly the same as the BIL052560 my father wants. Perhaps I'll ask him to look at the listing personally.

     I do believe the Billings kit is the one You want . If not , l there's always the Revell offering . I think it's a matter of the years represented . I hope this helps .T.B.

There is a monster of a Calypso model from Billings Boats on eBay right now. The model is already built, though......but comes with a huge glass case. Just type in "Billings Calypso" in the search bar on eBay. It's the only one right now that's listed.

Ah.

Not only that, but my dad really looks forward to building it himself. A pre-built model really wouldn't have done the trick. Especially if shipping it oversea is impossible anyway.
