For those looking for it, it's currently for sale on Amazon.

I found the CE a very nice kit to build.  It is quite large for a 1:700 model.  There is a nice PE set for it.

I have that model in my stash and was planning to use generic 1/700 PE, but if there is a dedicated set, that would be even better. Who makes it?

On the bench: 1/350 Trumpeter HMS Dreadnought; 1/350 Academy USS Reuben James FFG-57

It has been awhile, but I think it may have been White Ensign. I know it was not Toms.  I did not keep any info on it.  It included railings, ladders, antennas and stuff for top deck of superstructure.

BTW, I didn't like the fact that all the container decals were of a single shipping co., so I found lots of shipping company logos on line and easily made lots of decals for the full load of containers (only the outer ones show), using inkjet decal paper.

I haven't built the model myself and probably won't plan to. But, online there are references to PE sets by Revell and by Mk.1. I couldn't find any listed as in stock anywhere, but I wasn't so much looking for that as trying to find out the source.

Hi Don :

       Have you built any ships out of paper ? The reason I ask is this .Wilhilemshaven has a nice one called the " Conti Belgica " . You can also get an extra set of containers for it . I believe it's close to 1/400 or 1/350 in scale , But the " Belgica " was small as containerships go.

    She's printed in a nice Blue and some different grays and has lot's of detail . A generic P.E. set would dress her out just right . She was a self load  ,self unload type of ship so she has some nice cranes on board .           T.B.

Is each container a seperate piece, or does it treat containers stack by stack?

Hi Don ;

     The containers are laid out to be singles or groups .Your Choice

   All the containers have different names on them too . My client wanted better than half as singles . That way he could change her port profile once in a while , and have a box  hanging from the cranes .

Ah, I remember now. I bought the Revell PE set.  It was quite nice.

Here are a few quick shots concentrating on PE stuff.  Sorry about the quality of the photos- these are just quick flash shots.  Didn't take the time to do my normal macro setup.
