I saw the new WEM etch on the Tom's stand at scale model world show, Telford UK, last week and it all looks very good! Very bright and clean brass that looks nicely etched.

On the bench-1/350 Zvezda Varyag, Trumpeter Slava class Varyag and Tamiya CVN65 Enterprise. 1/400 Academy Titanic and 1/96 DeAgostini Victory.

White Ensign Models makes a PE set with options to make any of the Nimitz class.    Includes the radar support structure which differed  (top row on this fret and the next).

Different radars,  lots of goodies.   Airwing details also available

White Ensign is out of business,  but Toms Modelworks picked up the rights to produce their PE and some of their resin kits.

IIRC you are able to direct order the WEM products from Toms via the WEM website.   In doubt,  contact Richard Harden of Toms.  He can set you up.

I am looking for a 1/350th Nimitz class model. I want to model the Truman and all I can find is the 1975 Nimitz. I was hoping for one closer to current versions.  I have found 1/700th but I would really like to get the bigger scale one. Thanks for any help on this.
