Looks pretty cool, you wouldn't have any larger photos would you?

The kit is from Yankee Model Works, number 35062.

There's not a lot you have to do with the kit.  The sub in the movie did not have a deck gun, just a .50 cal.  It did have a long whip antenna behind the periscope but except for some railing, she was pretty plain.

I'll try for a better shot next time.

If you haven't seen "Operation Petticoat"  you should.  It has good actors like Cary Grant and Tony Curtiss among others.

You might also check out "Father Goose" , another movie set in the Pacific.

To cool!  I'm gonna watch the movie (again after 50 years!) and build it too!

The only gun it carried was a .50 cal. and it also had a long whip antenna on the conning tower.  Someone told me that they used three Ballou class subs to make the movie.

If you like that one, try Father Goose too.

Actually, yes, at the end and a Aussie destroyer in the beginning, along with a cabin cruiser.
