Great work Rod, and in such small scale.  I need to get on my Roman grain ship project, and you just game me another idea on how to display it.  Thanks!

Really, really nice work on that old Pyro kit.Stick out tongue
Scale Modeler had an article on the kit back in the late 1960s or early 1970s, IIRC, but I do not ever recall seeing it in Stanton Hobby ( Chicago ) at the time.

Did you ever buy any of the small scale Imai Bireme kits, as well?

Rod,

Is that the same model you posted over at Model Ship Gallery? I loved it then but I never realized just how dang small it is. You sir, are amazing!

It really looks stunning in the water now. Looking forward to the next installment.

Steve

I did this kit before about a year and half ago.I wanted to do it in a water setting.I cut down the hull. The Pyro deck didn't look great.i used Artwok planking.I also used the planking on the deck house.I turned wood main and fore mast.CIM rope was used for the rigging. No scale is given on the box.Added open heart deadeyes  for the rigging. The water is not the greatest but I'm getting better at it.I'm not done.I plan on figures soon.I'll keep and update.Second time was better on this kit.
