                        Howdy. Quick question. Did BB-57 ever carry SK-2 radar? Every picture I find, and trust me, I have looked at a bunch,  shows her with the original flat "bedspring" SK right up to decommisioning. Trumpeter's 1/700 kit #05760 comes with the round SK-2 dish. Should I worry?

                        You might know her history better, but I do not see where she went in for any major refits between her commissioning and the end of the war where the SK would have been updated to the SK-2.  So it might be that she always had the SK.  In fact, looking at the NavShips website, it looks like all the SoDak class ships had the SK through the war.
