So all of your models are Vietnam-era? Say, do you have any info about the Maddox or the Turner Joy, how they looked like during Vietnam war?

Hmmm, I served on Maddox 731 for a short time in 1965 after being transferred off ESSEX CVS-9. I have a couple crest's, but never did take any pics. Wish I had.

I'll be stopping in at the Maddox reunion, Sept 8-11, just before the ESSEX reunion Sept 12 - 18. (I'm the Assistant Treasurer), both are in Albequerque NM this year.

In The Yards - USS ESSEX 1/700 Hasegawa 1945, USS ESSEX 1/700 Dragon 1944, USS ESSEX 1/700 Trumpeter 1945, USS ESSEX 1/540 Revell (vintage) 1962, USS ESSEX 1/350 Trumpeter 1942, USS ESSEX LHD-2 as commissioned, converted from USS Wasp kit Gallery Models. Plus 35 other plastic and wood ship kits.
