So I'm just getting started. I am by NO means a "Fine Scale Modeler", but I will try my best! I know this will be a major project spanning quite a while. I'll do my best to post any snags, blunders, tips or ticks I encounter along the way. I plan to build her with FULL sails. I have always liked knots & ropes. So, I'm looking forward to the rigging. "There is not a knot that is not in the Ashley's Book of Knots".
Here, I've glued the 2 sides of the hull together. It did NOT want to fit niceley. I've seen some pics on the internet where they are held together with wooden clothes pins. HA! Maybe if they had titanium spring in them.
For the copper I used Krylon FOIL Metallic copper.
I like the way it came out.
