Revell Yacht America on eBay

You won't get ay aurgument from all of us Crackers.  This kit has to be on the top for recommending for a beginner.   The size and compexity level is perfect. Molding and fit is excellent. We wish Revell would release it again.  

For those of you who like sailing ships, but dislike complicated rigging, Revell's answer for the yacht AMERICA would make an excellent build. Easy to put together and a impressive display.

I built one of those way back when in my teens.  I eventually gave it to an old WW2 vet that loved to sail.  Most likely it ended up in the trash after he passed, but it was the best of the Revell mid sized sailing ships of the time.
