HTMS Chakri Naurebet Scratchbuilt
Posted by allan on Sunday, April 24, 2016 8:29 AM

She's the world's smallest active aircraft carrier.  Built in Spain and enjoys similarities with the Principe de Asturias.  Her Harriers were withdrawn from service a few years back, unfortunately, but she still provides sterling service.

This is my entry to the on-going Aircraft Carrier GB.  Fully scratchbuilt save for the railings, catchnets, reels, ladders and air wing.  WIP pics and build notes can be seen in the Aircraft Carrier GB thread.

Comments most welcome.

Very nice.

Nice to see a scratchbuilt modern ship. Most of the scratch models I see are vintage stuff.

Very nice job, Allan! I like the waterline, are you going to put her on water base? Since this is scratch built, do you have an idea of what scale it is? I have to say this again, this ship is extremely well done!
