What a fun and beautiful ship to build ! It must
be dated I am surprised it is not built more often
on here. Fit was great, a little on the flash side but
no to bad. Testors MMA paint and Tamiya ET glue
for the materials and a BD-130 airbrush. Thanks

Ive built this and have one in the stash I hope to convert to a Japanese coastal merchant and use in a B-25 strafing attack Dio...scales close enough to 72nd...I agree thats its an under appreciated gem, and getting hard to find...nicely done...

It's a nice kit that lends itself to a lot of kitbashing ideas. I have a wecked one in the spare parts box that I might get to restoring someday.
Spotted this picture of a Dutch trawler out of Limuiden, Netherlands on shipspotting.com. I wonder if this vessel performs the same function as the completed model, as the drag nets appear different than the usual nets employed on this type of ship.Inquiring minds want to know.
