Revell of Germany 1/142 North Sea Fishing Trawler

I noticed this kit in a Hobby Town yesterday. I thought it might be a fun future build. I might have to go buy it; add it to some of the other kits that I may never get to.

Anyone build it? Thoughts about it? I searched this forum and there is not much out there about it. I found something about a Russian version of it I think.

I built one, great value, fun to build, good fitting, a little bit of flash but not to bad.

On the third page in this ship forum you can see how mine turned out.

Sorry I can't get my ship build to link.

Strange that your build didn't come up in my search. Nicely done sir. Thanks for responding, Dash.

Built one a while back for the father of a friend. Easy build with no major problems. Could have a little more detail included in the kit. I added scratchbuilt nets that added a little realism to it. Plenty of photos of that type of trawler on the net for research.

Jim, thanks for the info. I just got back from the store. I bought it for $15 and change. Considering the cost of models now a days, I am happy.

That's a steal at that price. Have fun with it.
