                        This will be my one and only full hull Supercarrier. The hull is the J.F.K with the bow anchor.  The port side opening for the anchor will be fill in. The aft sponsons are the same as the Kitty Hawk class. I will make my flight deck from scratch.  That is because America is different from the Kitty Hawk and J.F.K deck.  The starboard side near the no:1 elevator  is the same as J.F.K and Nimitz. There is lot more to do on this ship. It just maybe a complete scratch build. So I started sanding removing details.  Post when I can.  Later!

                        Just fill in the port side anchor opening. Also wet sand areas that needed to be removed.

                        Work on the portside overhang. Going to be adding small parts to all sides of the hull this weekend. The next task is the flight deck. Photos this weekend. Happy Modeling!

                        The hanger deck looks great with all the detailing. Try to get some close-up pics before you put the Deck on. You have a few areas (Fantail and Elevator openings) to cover up if you are going to spray-paint. How do you mask the openings?
