Buying the Trumpter 1/350 HMS Hood

Hello
I am going to buy the Trumpeter HMS Hood 1/350.
Is this a good kit? What should I know about the kit itself and warship building- Ive never built a ship before. What advice can you give me? I have most of the basic modeling tools etc, is there anything I might need specific to ship building?

Tamiya please produce these models: TOG II*, Bob Semple Tank, Renault FT-17, Black Prince, 1/350 HMS Vanguard and more British stuff! If anyone works Tamiya or can pass this on, please do so!
