I tried the way back machine , won't let me log in , so that is no good

Well, I imagine it'll be back up at some point then...the OP made it sound like the guy died or something...

You may still browse the archived version of it:

However, the forum was requiring a login, so...

Some think this is actually fun!

Oh no! Well, I had a WIP thread on it, perhaps they got tired of waiting for updates.

But that's really too bad, it sure was a great resource.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Well there are quite a few knowledgeable people here to help, but you're right about the wealth of info pertaining to Victory as well as other ships too. Having been a member there for about 10 years it's tough to see it go.

Hello Jose!

I sure hate when it happens, but there could be a way around it - at least partially. There is a web site called wayback machine. It allows you to set a date and check a specified web site on that date. Some pictures might be missing, but the text is there. I hope this will help you at least a little - good luck with your build and have a nice day

The title says it all. I was hoping to use that website as a primary resource - it was full of detailed and invaluable information, from rigging to how to paint the details on the stern. Now where will I go? Sad
