I have a 1/350 Benson class ('42 Laffey) from them to go with the Merit CV6.  Haven't started her yet, but looked it over, is the "smart kit" with PE.  Looks to be OK for the price I gave for it (Just under 50.00)

I just finish building the 1/350 Scharnhorst.  It was a very nice kit, everything fitted just fine.  Some confusion with understanding the instructions, but that is just Dragon.

I have three of their destroyers in the box.  Seen other builds on forums and you-tube.  Everyone really seems to like them and they sure are great looking kits when finished.

I do change out all of the barrels with metal ones.  Their slide molded barrels look fine but seem just out of scale, mainly the smaller caliber barrels.

My first 1/350 ship was the Dragon USS Buchanan. I converted her (not much to do in that ragard) to the USS Duncan and gave it to a friend of mine whose dad died aboard the Duncan in the Battle of Cape Esperance in October, 1942. I thought it was a remarkably detailed kit but since it was only my third or fourth ship kit that I'd built since I was 14 or 15 years old I think I could have done a much better job. Still, I think Dragon must have some very nice kits based on the only one I've built of theirs.

And here is the last known picture of USS Duncan DD-485 as she steamed toward her fate in October, 1942:

Ok you asked for it.  This is my version of the Dragon 1/350 Scharnhorst 1943.  The colors were based on what Wikipedia says she was painted in when she was lost in December 1943.

This one the flash went off on the camera thats why she brighter.

She not perfect so there are no close ups.  She was a fun build, all of the mistakes where mind.  I have the 1941 version and another 1943 kit sitting my stash.  Vendor from Japan sent me two by accident and didn't want the other back.  I figure in five years I be ready to build another.
