                        Looking for 1/350 Modern Carrier Decal set

                        Hello all, I am looking for a decal set for Modern Carriers. I am building a 1/350 scale USS Carl Vinson CVN-70. Gold medal Models (set 350-8D) and Boatswain (set D350-003) both made decal sets. However, Both have discontinued them and no residual stock is available from online hobby shops.

                        I have searched Ebay and some sets have been sold before but none are up from sale at present. I check once a week.

                        If anyone has this set, and is willing to sell it, please contact me. (post, PM, email)

                        Still looking for one of the decal sets.

                        I did contact Gold Medal Models and Boatswain.

                        GMM has no plans to re-issue the decal set.

                        Boatswain says they are "looking to re-issue the set sometime this summer".

                        Starfighter decals should have what you need.

                        On the bench-1/350 Zvezda Varyag, Trumpeter Slava class Varyag and Tamiya CVN65 Enterprise. 1/400 Academy Titanic and 1/96 DeAgostini Victory.

                        Checked out their website.

                        They have some of the aircraft decals but nothing for the ship.

                        The only ship decals are for the USS Enterprise.

                        I checked the Starfighter Decals site and could not find the Nimitz set they used to carry in 1/350, although they do carry them in 1/1200 and 1/700.  I have emailed them to find out about the near future. I'll post again when I find out.  I might also have an extra set, and will check after I get home from work tonight.

                        I also checked with Gold Medal Models, who lists their set as "Out of Production" and hope to hear from them soon.

                        Mark at Starfighters informed me that set #350-54, Nimitz class carriers will probably be available sometime this summer. He says that the artwork is done.
