Thanks for the input T.B.  I think I will go with Eduard's etch.  Finished the book.  Amazing story.  Building the Fletcher will be an honour for me.

Hi ;

 Number one . Very good book you are reading .Number two , Toms's is good , Eduard's is better , But I used Gold Medal Models on mine .

   The Book appealed to me as I started my Navy Career on a can . One that at the time , Still had it's 1945 outfit ! Frammed later !  T.B.

USS Fletcher 1/350 PhotoEtch Question
Posted by rodc on Saturday, December 31, 2016 8:20 AM

Folks,

I want to get some photoetch for my 1/350 Tamiya kit.  I have seen photoetch online from WhiteEnsign, Tom's Modelworks and Eduard.  Anyone have a recommendation.  I am currently reading The Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailors and would like to finish my Fletcher as USS Johnston (DD-557).

Thanks and Happy New Year everyone.
