Seeing as to what ship it is, keelhauling would be an appropiate punishment in this case.
Did he carve his name into the ship? I think he needs a suspended sentence pending a full and honorable discharge after serving at least 4 years in the United States Navy.
Or, Keelhauling

Being a proud Navy DAV, this really angers me ! He is not good enough for the Navy, but 4yrs or so of chipping paint and priming sounds like an appropriate sentence. Keelhauling, does not last long enough.
Un-chock the wheels and have him "kiss the gunners daughter" !!!
Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"
Well then there's whoever stapled that electrical cable to that beam.
Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
Not having access to Boston news, what damage did he do?
Now;
You see what bothers me on a very large scale . Thes punkettes and punks seem to think that is alright to deface items such as stones in Arlington , Buildings on the mall . Now the Constitution ? I say Keel - Haul the Punk the way pirates did .From bow to stern and if he lives let him serve six years with an X-Acto knife removing marine growth at the Waterline in a life - jacket .
I cannot stand anyone that would deface that which comemorates this great country of ours ( Mistakes and all ) and All the Vessels , Planes and Hardware and then think it's funny to deface the memorials in country cemetaries where the person's history salutes their service .
I cannot condone any light sentence . If the truth be known . I have NO TOLERANCE for those who deface anything or anyone that stood for America . If It wasn't for this great country I probably would've grown up behind the " Iron Curtain " .Thank God for the Good Old " U.S.A."
AMEN, many times over TB
Apparently busted a lock on a door to a storage closet.
Amen to that, TB!
Bill
Well when they are handing out the COC awards,
apparently I'I'll be pretty far back in the line!
Time to let the cat out of the bag...

As a young person myself I find it maddening when people show such a lack of respect for veterans and memorials. Sadly a lot of the younger generations have no concept of the struggles, sacrafices and countless wars that both soldiers and civilians have gone through to ensure our freedoms. Without such sacrafice I doubt any of us would be living free like we are today. Sadly even Canada has had a few incidents, few years back 3 young men urinated on the tomb of the unknown soldier.
