Hi Don,

I used ModelKasten's metal rigging line, 0.06 https://hlj.com/product/MDKH-4/Nav. You get 5m per set.

0.06 has diameter 0.047mm, decent for 1/700. There are other diameters available as well, these have a reasonable 'memory' that they stay straight enough for gravity to take over.  Glue with superglue as per normal. 

They are not as straight as stretched sprue but has the advantage of being very durable/forgiving when working with - suitable for times when speed is important (I would still prefer stretched sprue but that's a battle with patience)
