suggesting this will be more suited to the R/C crowd.

I've been following Ted Hawkesworth's build on ehobby.uk

This is a (nearly) full interior kit, with clear hull parts.  So the r/c crowd would be chucking 7/8 of the parts in the bin.  Probably easier (and cheaper) ways to get a 1/48 hull to r/c.

Now, I've heard that some are using magnets to hold the hull halves together, so that they can paint the whole hull, rather than just half.  Makes sense to me.

Toughest part woulf be the 2m long display case o_O

Ye, to big for my taste as well, 1/72nd will do for me. I have seen some pics of this and heard quite a few peopl;e suggesting this will be more suited to the R/C crowd.

Had no idea these were in existence. Just found them on ebay. Of course I will never build one (unless I win the lottery) 1.4 meters long ! A. Hell of a project !
