Guys, what is the correct colour of K-141 Kursk's hull, the
front sonar dome area ? I am 99% sure its red but i have seen a few models, even the odd one or two from the Polar Bear studio in
Severodvinsk which are silver (the expensive hand made ones). I think i heard that the next few Oscar II's after Kursk, the Tomsk and Belgorod, where painted silver, but not the Kursk i dont think. I think that Zvezda's model also says to paint silver, i have seen quite a few red, the Krasdonar (first Oscar II) was painted red. Even have a picture of an Oscar II that shows the entire 'Below waterline' in red, much like an Ohio class USS sub.
Any help here is much appreciated guys, just want to finsh the models correctly. thanks,
