1/350 USS ARIZONA MODEL KIT
Posted by Blindluck on Friday, February 23, 2018 4:56 PM

Good after noon,

I haven't posted in here in a while, because I have been busy building the USS Antietam in 1/700 scale. i Wish I could post a some pics in here but I don't have a public FTP site! If you would like to see it go to my channel at  B.A.S. Dry Dock on YouTube! wasn't sure how I would do on my frist model sence the F-16 First came out.

I have a question that I have been asking fellow modelers, so I thought I would adk you guys also. I am looking for the best USS Airzona kit in 1/350 scale. I would love recomindations for the ship and the after market PE, brass barrels and wood vineer deck! I have gotten burned in the past shopping online and am trying to avoid that fun bage of tricks.

You guy guy's have been a big help in the past and I really appreciate the input and support! You can reply here or contact me at basdrydock@gmail.com

Thanks for your Time

Brian

There's only one kit. It's been sold by Trumpeter, Mini Hobby, Banner and Hobby Boss. I suppose a Hobby Boss version is as good as any.

It's not a superwonderful model, and replicates errors from the Revell kit.

I used Gold Medal PE, Aber barrels. I can't comment on a wood deck. I have heard that the replacement screws are not worth the trouble.

What colors are you planning to paint her?Devil

With some TLC and some aftermarket (definitely benefits from photo-etch), it can be made into a beautiful model.

1/350 does make it a very nice size.

You are forgetting the old Toms Modelworks 1921 fit of the Arizona.  Now sold by Iron Shipwright.  It is resin & brass
