Wow, looking at your list, it appears you were trying to resurrect the entire U-boat fleet in miniature. Adm. Donitz would be proud. Will be bidding on some of these.

Just an update on the subs-for-sale listing (see link above). All kits are on EBay now for your browsing pleasure. Click on the 'Advanced' link to the upper right of 'Search"; Click 'by Seller' on left menu; Then enter 'theilliniguy' in the seller box.

OK I've compiled the list. It can be viewed via this link.

If any interest just PM me.

I would suggest making the list and saving to your document file, then can attach to an email to interested parties.  Makes it easy to keep current as they are bought.

Thanks you guys. Generous and thoughtful and I really appreciate it. If ok, I’ll plan to prepare a list of kits, scale, extras, etc. Post it. And if any interest then PM would work great. All user forums should be so great!

I'll second GM's opinion. There have been a couple instances where members wanted to sell kits or help sell a stash; the way those were handled was to have interested buyers PM for a list and prices. I bought a few from those listings, and the moderators ddin't have any objections to the way the poster announced the sale.

If you do eBay, I suggest that you just tell us what your eBay name is - I doubt that anyone would have a problem.

Hokey, it's not real clear. The PM route is best. I don't think you should worry too much- you are a longtime member, the reason you are offloading is personal, and it's not like you just showed up and created a member account from which to promo a company or sell stuff.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

OK Thanks. Would it be acceptable to refer to ebay listing once I get that up?  Or just post a list of the items but adding PM me if interested?

If it is permissible to offer kits for sale here in the Ship forum? I have several sub kits (u boats & gato), some with aftermarket extras and all scales.

I can/will certainly offer on Ebay as well but thought it would serve the ship community here if all had an awareness of what’s available.
