There are a lot of good images on Google. Problem is that they are usually white. I suppose the decal could be white with a black or hull red background.

Or do them yellow on clear.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

That kind of marking is not too difficult to scratch with inkjet decals. Look through the decal forum below for threads on inkjet decals.  You need to determine the font of the numbers, and match the closest you have on the computer.  For the plimsoll marks and such, I'll bet you can find graphics on Google Images.  Just make sure you change color as necessary, and then scale them appropriately.  I always make multiple copies of each marking I make for a project, at least two, maybe more if it is a complex marking.

You should be able to make the scales with lines, turn on grid and scales along the graphics screen.

Is Hawk Graphics still in business? I need hull markings decals for a 1:96 - - 1:100 scratch build containership model  - - -draft marks, bulb mark, plimsoll mark, thruster mark etc  and I had bought a sheet from them years ago for another model I was then building that was perfect

The sheet i need is shown on their website but i cant get through to them either by phone or e mail. If they are no longer around, any suggestions for other sources? thanks. Aaron Alpert
