I picked up the Yamashiro (60034) two or three years ago for around $225 from a brick and mortar store. That's pretty much in line with the prices I've paid on other 350 kits, like Tamiya's Big E, and I think that it was in the same ballpark as the retail prices from Hobby Link Japan and a few other sources in Japan. If you figure in the cost of shipping or taking a long road trip like me, then $75 isn't bad, I guess.

Completely an impulse buy, the kit has little touches like PE, clear part (I normally don't see that much in ship kits), metal barrels, and a set of masks, that gave more bang for my buck. My justification at the time was if I picked up the Tamiya Missouri at around half the cost of this Fujimi kit, I'd spend just as much in aftermarket touches to match what was already in the box.

I think for our hobby the pricing of kits is pretty much what the traffic will bear.  Those really expensive kits do seem to be selling.
