I believe that the Rising Sun disc was added to the flight deck before the Indian Ocean raids of April 1942. It was not applied for Pearl Harbor, but was there a Midway, as you can see in this photo of her.
F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!
U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!
N is for NO SURVIVORS...
