Italeri 1/35 Vosper Torpedo MTB. Too much Photo-Etch?

First, can't answer so you might stop reading this.

But, I had a similar puzzle on my Revell 1/144 Snowberry. I bought the GMM sheets and they do add a lot. However, it gets ridiculous. The engine room skylight alone has 65 little parts. I got completely bogged down putting them on and the ship is now on the shelf of doom.

I built a 1/72 Snowberry 2 yrs ago. It had a lot of PE, but I left alot of it off, esp the railings. Flat railings... why bother? The Skylight "only" had 32 pieces and I left half off. No one's gonna notice, but if you lose one or two, then theyll notice the assymetry.  

Give yours another chance. It's a great looking ship, esp if you paint it white/camo.
