Hi"G" :

The thing is a problem with the paint .The Client supplied it and some has turned to jelly .I am having a bear's time trying to match what I already have . She's close to that point except some main deck bulkhead parts .

Love to see a photo of the overall tin can.

Have a square bridge salted away for future project USS Morrison.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Hi Folks !

Those of you seeing my photos for the first time , be warned , the Fletcher is the 1/96 U.S.S.Kidd ! You will see parts that seem familiar .That's because when Scratch Building I use not just Aftermarket stuff . I also use " Found Items " Such as the director base above the wheelhouse .The Item is a LEGO " Technic " Wheel modified for it's role .

The Ports are sections of plastic tubing . Why ? Well , the P.E. ones disappeared under two coats of paint ! As we go on , you will see many Plastic fittings that came from somewhere else .

If it works and looks right , I use it !
