Here are two kits built after resuming ship modeling after many years hiatus; kits are Combrig 1/700 Dreadnought Императрица Мария (Imperatritsa Mariya) and pre-dreadnought Andrei Pervozvanny (Андрей Первозванный — St Andrew the First-Called). I'll build a few more similar kits before tackling the Samek BB Ise 1917.
Nino I'll try to add photos of the 1917 Ise kit as it progresses; first I want to start out with a few of the "simpler" 1/700 resin kits to get some experience since at 70-yrs old the eyes and hands aren't what they were in my youth. I also got most of my Samek WWI-era battleship kits such as the USS Delaware from Freetimes Hobbies.
Me too. Please do a "Build" .
I have the Samek USS Delaware in my wish list at Freetime. Never made a Samek kit so would realy like to see one Posted.
P.S. FTH has been my Shop of choice for years.
Nino
Nope, but I would be into watching you do a build. Those CE resin kits can be challenging, but winners too.
Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
I want to start my Samek 1/700 BB Ise 1917 kit and wondered if anyone has built this kit or knows of any reviews.
