Yes, the Vickers is a bottom-ejecting MG, which can be nice.  You do have a belt going in one side and out the other, too.

Cuation, Ian's videos are hugely addictive (says the $3 Patreon member, sigh).
Ian sold that ickers for a tidy sum to fund some other Forgotton Weapons projects.

The MTB mount is I think a Mark 3. It's in a hydraulically (sp.?) rotated turret, so the brass would stay inside there.

As far as the crew, Osprey has a publication "British Motor Torpedo Boats 1939- 1945".

I don't own it as it's not a subject I've ever looked at, but usually these things are pretty good, with color illustrations.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Typically, if the casings will not foul the mount, they are left on deck and then shoveled overboard.

On of the least best expereiences after a life fire exercise with a PBR MkII was policing up MG links and cases, the former being lego-like in thier ability to poke the unwary.

The Oto/Melara 75mm guns just spit cases onto the deck, as do 5"54's; these are policed up and put over the side after firing.  Unless in an "inshore" area, in which case they were netted up and secured until they could get a leagal "deep six."

I'm building a 1/35 Italeri Vosper MTB Torpedo boat in a worn and used mode, but nnot a diorama.

Towards the stern, there's a twin bank of water-cooled machine guns, ammo belts and a shielded turret. On the real deal, where would the spent shells end up? Are they shunted off into an enclosed bin or do they spray out the top of the guns and presumably onto the deck? I'm thinking of cutting some wire bits to the right length and gluing them randomly to the deck, but if it's not really where they'd go, I can skip it.  Also, did the crew wear all the same colors of hats, jackets, shirts and pants?

Once again, Thx
