Agree 100%. The kit is a super starting point, but it really deserves the full treatment, because the details will show up really well on it. It's as big as a Tamiya 1/350th ship (or bigger!) but is a way smaller scale, so every little fitting is that much more visible.
Photoetch, resin superdetailing parts, aftermarket crew, the whole nine yards -- now THIS is a kit that screams "superdetail me!"
It's just too bad they didn't do a Fleet Boat -- you know, the subs that
won their commerce war?
(Can't even begin to imagine why Revell AG went for the U-Boat. Heh heh.)
