Anybody got a set of instructions for Entex 1/36 Palawan I could get a copy of. A friend has the kit and wants me to build it for him but dosen't have the instructions.

Rod,

That is a rare kit. In 5 years I have only seen 2 on eBay and the last one was just this week. I believe it is Entex kit # 7003.

I think it is actually an Otaki mold. Otaki did a bunch of kits in 1/36 like their Blue Hawaii and Florida yacht.  My recollection is that all 3 use the same mold.  Don't quote me as I only saw photos of the parts and added some notes in my Sailing Ship list about the similarity.

I will do some searching under Otaki as well as Entex.

Edit:  Update....email on the way to you.

No luck on Palawan instructions.  Hope another member can assist.

Hello all, I have the Otaki kit with instructions, if you still need them. They are pictoral only with Japanese writing, but I will be glad to copy and send what I have.

That would be great. What do you need from me?

John, more and more of these Otaki molded kits are appearing on the "used" market.  If you built yours, what did you think of it?

And thanks for posing about the Instructions.
