                        So I got lucky at the raffle up in Columbus and won a 1/200 Trumpeter PLA Chinese Navy Type 051C DDG-115 Shenyang. Has anyone built this, or even seen it built?
                        just looking at the kit it seems ok. I mean these modern warships don't have much on the deck so they look kind of bare in real life as well as in model form Big Smile

                         

                        In the pattern: Scale Shipyard's 1/48 Balao Class Sub! leaning out the list...NOT! Ha, added to it again - Viper MkVii, 1/32 THUD & F-15J plus a weekend madness build!

                        That was helpful! Also found a similar Russian destroyer From that list so may be able to pick up PE from it and use as well. That's a crazy long and detailed list of ship kits. Will come in handy for other builds to.  Hyperscale has a review but not a build.

                        i have that site in my favourites & i use it a fair bit. will be sending a re-view on this link http://www.modelerjoe.net/shipmodellist.html#ZhengHuainan that is listed as Type 055 but actually is Type 053H2G Frigate. as i have 2 of those models, the 2nd is being kitbashed as the Type 053H3 Frigate as both types use same hull & forward superstructure.
